We met with a few contractors prior to selecting RenewaBuild. What set them apart was the interior design aspect, which we really needed. Other contractors didn't offer any help with selection of styles, colors, etc. Suzanne (interior designer) was very helpful with that. Russell and Suzanne both took the time to meet with us to review the scope of work and estimates in detail, and kept us updated on the timeline and progress throughout the job. They showed up as scheduled, and did a nice job keeping the work area clean after each day. It is obvious that they take pride in their work and want to do a great job. Matt was professional and friendly as well, and the entire team communicated with us throughout the project to ensure that we were satisfied. The work was completed efficiently and with high quality. We feel it was well worth the cost. We will think of RenewaBuild first for any future project.

Everything went smoothly, very well, and the work was finished way ahead of schedule. We never felt like there was a perceivable gap between jobs---as soon as materials were available the work proceeded. Russell and Suzanne were wonderful to work with, and it was so great having Suzanne there as a designer to help with the design layout of the kitchen and picking out all the materials, paint colors, lighting, and advice on appliances. Not all contractors, actually none in my experience, have designers available to help with the entire process. Russell was so knowledgeable and meticulous in the best way. Russell and Suzanne spent a lot of time at their initial visit to give a free estimate, and they suggested a wonderful new layout for our kitchen which we ended up doing, and it turned out great! Their tilers did a wonderful job fixing our bathroom floor and making our bathroom look like new with the new ceramic tile they installed. All of their teams were a pleasure to work with and highly professional. Their work was outstanding! Overall, I highly recommend Renewabuild!

Just had a great experience with RenewaBuild! Our refrigerator went out. We were able to get a deep discount, an extra year warranty and professional installation through Russell Harper and his company. The refrigerator was also delivered 2 days earlier than we could have gotten one scheduled if we had ordered directly from a local appliance store. We also needed a dishwasher. Again, a great discount and quick service. Thanks Russell!
From initial meeting to final walk-through, Russell and his team were great to work with. The job started and stayed on schedule. Suzanne was very helpful in guiding us through the design and choices of tile, fixtures, etc. (all while staying within our budget). During the job, the work site was kept as clean as possible and surfaces/areas that were not worked on were protected. We are thrilled with how the bathroom turned out. It's beautiful and functional - it's the nicest room in the house! :) When our budget allows, we will definitely hire Renewabuild again.
The team of Russell Harper, contractor, Suzanne Ungaro, interior designer, & Matt, project manager, were a pleasure to work with. My wife and I are somewhat picky having interviewed 12 contractors prior to selecting RENEWABUILD! Our expectations were exceeded. Russell's honesty and integrity was demonstrated time and time again along with his skills as a craftsman. Suzanne was an invaluable asset to us with her honest feedback and reassurance both before the project started and during the process. Her passion for her work is quite evident. Matt was diligent in following up on all tasks, details, and punch list items. This team and their chosen sub contractors clearly aim to please. Russell treats the project as if it was his own home being worked on. The project was completed in the contracted timeframe of eight weeks. I would definitely use them again. It was a pleasant surprise to have found a company that does such quality work and truly cares about their customers.
It was a great experience working with Renewabuild. Russell and Suzanne make a great team. They listen to what you need and they work with your budget. They make great suggestions and Russell is an awesome carpenter. We had a different contractor already scheduled but they had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency. We wanted the renovation complete before we moved into our new home but didn't think anyone could do it in time. Luckily we found Renewabuild and they were able to work on the island despite their busy schedule. I appreciated that they protected the floors and everything around the project. They used a dust suction machine that kept the area neat. They also cleaned up very nicely after everything was finished. They made sure we were happy with the work before they took the last payment. We have more projects in the house so we'll definitely be calling them again in the near future.
We would highly recommend RenewaBuild if you are considering a kitchen remodel. They were extremely easy to work with and fully transparent during the process. We were living oversees during the entire design and planning phase and for half of the construction. Russell and Suzanne were very responsive to our questions and needs, effectively communicated with us through email and phone conversations and streamlined the selections process with photos and recommendations. They kept us updated on the progress and took the time to re-assess the project and suggest changes as needed during construction. We love our kitchen and have been extremely pleased with the carpet installation and whole house interior paint jobs they completed as well.

Russell and his team were fantastic from the very beginning! They were upfront, all the costs were clear, we felt like a team, they were flexible and they were very open to any and all ideas we had. Their work is beautiful and flawless and they take pride in every single thing they do in your home. We are bringing them back for our next project, a wine cellar!

Russell has completed a number of projects for us including the gazebo, stairwell, front door make over and others. We are more than satisfied with his work. He is also a gentleman and is both dependable and reliable. His workmanship is outstanding. We are planning to have Russell back to do additional projects including coffered ceilings in the breakfast room, trim work, decorative ceiling beams/rafters in a vaulted ceiling living room and custom wine bar. We highly recommend his work provided he is available to come back frequently for our incessant project ideas.

Absolutely wonderful!! I don't have enough great words to describe Russell, Matt and Suzanne (and the rest if the team). We had a great plan in place; however, the few time when I was not completely on board, they went out of their way to fix / change the design to accommodate my "desire" and the needs of our son who has Autism, all while adhering to the deadlines. I'm extremely impressed and I will have them back in 2 years to do our kitchen.
I just finished a remodel in the last couple of weeks and used RenewaBuild. They did an awesome job with the design, and the remodel.

I highly recommend Renewabuild. They did a complete redo of my master bath as well as a separate project downstairs (I love my new kitchen backsplash). I found owner Russell to be completely trustworthy and reliable... and designer Suzanne was a joy. I never went to tile store, and she found the perfect selections for me. They've done work for several neighbors and we all keep recommending them to more neighbors!
Russell was an absolute joy to work with. He was courteous, professional, timely and treated my home like his own. He came in right at my budget and finished a week ahead of schedule. I just referred him to my friend whom is also experiencing the kitchen of her dreams!
I think Russell Harper and Renewabuild were the best renovation experience I've ever had (this is the 3rd home that I've owned and renovated). I will definitely hire him again when it comes time for the next project. We started with conversations to give Russell a sense of my design style, wants, and budget. He came back with a full detailed budget and about 4 design/materials recommendations. He has a great eye and really knows that works together and how to make the most of any space. The work began on time. His team was very personable and polite. They were great in terms of making sure that the other areas of my house were unaffected by the construction. The workers provided coverings to protect furniture and cleaned up each day. The work proceeded very well and I actually gave him a key to my home and went to Ireland for three weeks while he worked. There was one delay with some glass manufacture that was beyond his control, but Russell kept me informed, worked to speed up the glass delays and was overall a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work is outstanding and I know that I will enjoy my new master bath for years to come!
We are so happy with both the design work as well as the construction. Russell has gone out of his way to accommodate our stylistic and financial requirements to get the job done in an efficient and cost effective manner. He has spent extra time, when necessary, to do the job well. Russell particularly gave us some great advice regarding paint colors, cabinet and counter styles and colors that would blend well with our existing tiles.
RenewaBuild's best attribute is they'll only do things right. No short cuts or patches. Only downside to the first job was had to wait in line a bit for my turn. That said, it was well worth it! With contractors I always worry about whether they'll show up, or come back when they say they will. This was not a problem at all. We were 100% satisfied (hence the second job gave them).
We were very pleased with the end result. RenewaBuild was easy to work with, professional and great with communication. We have subsequently hired them for other home renovation work and have highly recommended them to friends!
They did an incredible job on our kids hall bath, it exceeded our expectations! Russell did what he said was going to do, on time, within the budget, and they cleaned up before they left each day. We felt very fortunate that we found RenewaBuild. We can't wait for the team to redo our master bathroom!
A few months before our baby was due, a few tiles in our Master Shower had fell through revealing mold in the drywall behind it. It needed to be pulled out and all of the tile/drywall completely replaced. We got a few quotes from a few different companies, but Russell and Suzanne were the only ones who walked us through the process of mold remediation, and then called back to follow up. They also were the only ones willing to help us out sooner rather than later--which was a big deal because that baby was coming and we needed our bathroom back! Everyone else was booked out until the summer, and Renewabuild pushed and pulled their schedule to fit us in, something we really appreciated. They were thoughtful, and in constant contact with us. My kids were excited to see Matt every morning and would frequently check in on his progress. All of the workers/contractors were respectful and kept the workspace very clean. Very happy with our beautiful bathroom.

Loved the work that Russell and his crew did on my house. One night I was worrying about getting exterior carpentry work done. The next afternoon it was DONE! Solid job, done right and fast. Can't beat that!
